About the Designer

Born and raised in India, VKP grew up surrounded by the rich tapestry of Indian textiles — from the rustle of Kanjivaram silk at temple festivals to the vibrant cotton weaves of everyday life. That deep familiarity with fabric, colour, and craftsmanship became the foundation of everything he creates.

With decades of experience in ethnic fashion, VKP founded काVERi with a singular vision: to honour the timeless grace of Indian womenswear while making it accessible to the modern woman. Every saree and churidhar in the collection is handpicked by him personally, chosen for its quality, artistry, and soul.

"Clothing is memory," VKP says. "A saree can carry a grandmother's blessing, a daughter's wedding, a quiet afternoon of joy. I want every woman who wears काVERi to feel that."
